Nanga's " Dot Air® " ultra-breathable series is the most suitable for comfortable wearing in spring and summer, as well as the "Air Cloth Comfy" series made with the new technology Dot Air® . Known as a comfortable and functional fabric with excellent breathability. The high-tech fabric Dot Air® has a special weaving structure that creates tiny air holes, making it breathable, sweat-wicking, quick-drying and lightweight. Not only is it comfortable, it also feels natural when you wear it.
Developed by Japanese textile manufacturer Toray Industries, Inc. Dot Air® has been used in clothing for about 15 years and is a material with a woven structure and air perforations in the fabric itself. While breathable mesh is made of knitted material, Dot Air® is made of woven material with ventilation holes made using special raw yarn, weaving structure and Toray's unique processing technology. This highly breathable woven material was originally used only for pocket linings, but now has two-way stretch thanks to the use of stretch yarn, and now looks more fashionable. Through continuous innovation, it began to be used in sportswear and workwear, and eventually became the material used for everyday clothing and office casual wear.
Nanga uses Dot Air® COMFY fabric which is a microporous Dot Air® with unobtrusive ventilation holes. It is made of 100% polyester material containing elastic polymer, which is lightweight and stretchy. This was selected by the Nanga product team after field testing and consultation with Toray. The product will be launched in the spring and summer of 2022 under the name of the "AIR CLOTH" series. Starting this season, the product line's name has been changed to "Dot Air®".
Typically, Dot Air® outerwear comes with a water-repellent finish, but Nanga decided to go with a water-wicking finish since it would be used on something closer to the skin. This allows sweat to be absorbed quickly and, due to the properties of the fiber, evaporate quickly, preventing the inside of the garment from being stuck with sweat. Additionally, the material has been treated with an anti-wrinkle treatment to reduce the surface area in contact with the skin and create a natural heathered texture that makes the material less prone to wrinkling.

Air Cloth Comfy
Made from Dot Air® COMFY fabric, this T-shirt is breathable and absorbent when worn directly against your skin. The shirt is made from a woven rather than a knitted fabric, but the natural stretch of the stretch yarn and the raglan sleeve pattern mean it won't restrict movement. Overall, the garment is loose-fitting so that air can circulate freely inside the garment, but the hem can be adjusted with a drawcord.
