noicoyamaico Basic UL Folding Table

A product made by Mr. Daisuke Uejima, the founder of noicoyamaico in Japan. Mr. Uejima is a dedicated UL Camper.  In the spirit of "Let's make something that doesn't exist" MYOG (Make your own gear), I started to make my own unique Folding Table.

Since 2022, we have been trying to improve the structure to the best structure. The surface hardness and heat resistance of the plastic rubber sheet itself are weak, so we considered using a 4mm thick sheet to increase the strength, and an aluminum sheet is attached on the other side of the countertop to retain the heat resistance. Even if you use an alcohol stove or place a hot pot on the countertop, it can solve the deformation problem. The UL Folding Table is usually assembled with Velcro or snap buttons, but Mr. Uejima decided to use his own creation and decided to assemble the feet on both sides with magnets, which can be assembled faster and have higher adhesive strength, so it is not easy to collapse even if heavy objects are placed .
