This flame-retardant thermal blanket features FR-APD (Aluminum Vapor Deposited DCF) as its shell, PRIMALOFT Gold Cross Core® 60g as insulation, and FR-MONO GRID (UHMWPE Ripstop Monofilament Mesh 0.68oz/yd²) as its lining.

This product is PRIMALOFT® certified, using genuine PRIMALOFT Gold Cross Core®. The FR-APD material reflects heat, stays warm even when wet, uses PRIMALOFT synthetic down, and features FR-MONO GRID to effectively release moisture, preventing accumulation between fibers. This is a high-performance, lightweight thermal blanket that combines the properties of three different materials.

Additionally, by applying dot bonding in a total of 30 locations (15 on each side) on the outer and inner fabrics, the padding material is prevented from shifting, heat loss from traditional stitching is avoided, and a structure without cold spots is created. By tightening the drawcord loops at the top and bottom and securing them with cord locks, the shape of the sleeping bag can be adjusted.

Snapping the side buttons allows it to be adjusted to a more sealed shape. It can also be used as an underlay for a hammock or as a winter insulation mat. It dries quickly after getting wet or being washed, and it is lightweight, weighing only 350g including the storage bag, with a maximum length of 202cm and a maximum width of 136cm.

What is FR-APD?

An original material developed by FIELD RECORD, made from 0.51oz DCF coated with aluminum vapor deposition.

This lightweight material offers excellent heat reflection and sun blocking properties, providing superior insulation. It also boasts excellent cut resistance, abrasion resistance, and UV resistance. Additionally, the metal ions contained in FR-APD inhibit bacterial activity, thereby providing antibacterial, bactericidal, and deodorizing effects.

What is FR-MONO GRID?

This mesh material, originally developed by FIELD RECORD, features a unique structure that combines ultrafine monofilaments with UHMWPE fibers, resulting in a thin material with excellent strength and breathability. While typical multi-filament materials tend to retain moisture in the gaps between fibers, FR-MONO GRID's monofilaments prevent moisture accumulation between fibers, allowing for efficient moisture release.

In a tensile strength test conducted according to JIS L1096 Method A, it achieved a strength of 230N, demonstrating high strength despite weighing only 0.68 oz/yd². This material combines lightness, durability, and comfort.

What is PRIMALOFT?

This is a high-performance synthetic insulation material (synthetic down) developed by the American company Albany at the request of the U.S. military as an alternative to down. Due to its ultrafine fiber structure, it offers excellent warmth and lightness comparable to or even superior to real down, while also being highly water-resistant, preventing it from losing its insulating properties even when wet.
