Although the hydrophobic polypropylene (PP) inner layer effectively prevents chill from sweat, traditional garments often require a wool or synthetic inner layer for better moisture management. The "MOB WOOL" inner layer solves this problem in a single garment. It is woven from 88% merino wool and 12% PP. The skin-contacting, frame-like PP material quickly wicks sweat away from the skin and spreads it into the wool layer, promoting drying. The soft knitted merino wool layer traps air to provide exceptional warmth. Its excellent breathability allows excess heat and moisture to be quickly released when the outer layer is removed, keeping the skin dry at all times. |
- Hand wash in water below 30°C with a neutral detergent.
- Do not wash at temperatures above 30°C, as high temperatures can cause the fabric to shrink and become damaged.
- When washing, gently press the entire garment to help remove stains. Avoid rubbing the garment as much as possible.
- Rinse quickly after washing and change the water promptly. Do not wash or rinse for too long; a total time of 3 to 5 minutes is recommended.
- Soaking for too long will cause the fibers to harden and felt.
- After washing, gently press with a large towel to absorb excess moisture. Lay flat to dry in a cool, well-ventilated area.
- Do not tumble dry. Polypropylene is particularly sensitive to high temperatures, but its low thermal conductivity provides excellent warming performance (Axio).
- Merino wool shrinks because its surface scales open when they come into contact with water. When the scales open, friction or other external forces can cause the fibers to entangle.
- If the fibers dry while entangled, the scales will close, causing the entire fabric to become stiff and shrink. This type of shrinkage is known as "felting shrinkage" and is more likely to occur at higher water temperatures.
