Field Record FR-SCD Duo UV "LUNAR"

To commemorate our 7th anniversary, we specially commissioned Field Record to create this globally limited tent, defining a new version named "LUNAR".
It resembles a lunar module in a space mission, landing on the moon's surface, where its surface emits dazzling, refracted light.

We are fortunate to collaborate with Field Record this time, specifically modifying their iconic FR-SCD Duo tent. It utilizes the brand's exclusive Dyneema UV, a high-tech material with aluminum vapor deposition, which effectively blocks sunlight and offers UV resistance. This is also the first Dyneema tent that effectively blocks light.

To achieve a perfect structure, we discussed the details with Mr. Okamoto, the brand's designer. In addition to applying the exclusive Dyneema UV material to the tent, the upper half of the flysheet has been deliberately changed from the original Tarp system thickness of 0.51oz to 1oz, increasing the overall durability of the tent. The lower half and the tent floor retain 1oz Dyneema, ensuring durability against ground friction.

The key difference from the old version is that every stress point has been reinforced with an additional layer of Dyneema reinforcing adhesive, reducing the risk of damage when pulled. The tent poles still use Easton carbon fiber poles, with an overall weight of only 760g.
