The Five To Nine shell jacket is a fully functional, waterproof, and super-durable shell jacket. The tough and reliable Reactive 3L hardshell fabric offers an unparalleled soft, smooth, and quiet feel. This fabric feels different from most high-performance hardshells—it's elastic, soft, quiet, and silky smooth to wear.

It features a helmet-compatible hood, underarm ventilation zippers, and a two-way waterproof front zipper. With its 3D cut for freedom of movement, it creates an optimal microclimate, making it perfect for wear in all conditions. The jacket is equipped with dual hand pockets, a chest pocket, and an integrated stuff sack, enough to hold everything you need.

Care Instructions

• To save water, energy, and prolong the life of your garment, air it out instead of washing. If your shell has been used in saltwater, or is heavily soiled with sweat or dirt, be sure to wash it, as these can degrade the performance of the garment. They reduce the fabric's breathability and damage the waterproof layer. Dirt can even cause moisture to seep into the fabric.
• Using a washing bag can protect the garment and prevent fiber shedding. When cleaning the washing bag and washing machine filter, always wipe them clean and dispose of lint in the trash. Never rinse with water, as this can lead to fibers entering lakes or oceans.
• Machine wash cold.
• Specialized shell detergents are available, but a mild, eco-certified detergent will work just as well.
• Avoid using fabric softener. Fabric softeners are not only harmful to the environment but also negatively impact the garment's performance, primarily in terms of moisture-wicking and breathability.
• Hang to dry. After washing, remember to heat the garment to reactivate the waterproof layer of the outer fabric. You can use a tumble dryer, a drying rack, or an iron. Be careful to control the temperature to avoid melting the garment.
• If necessary, you can reapply or reinforce the waterproofing with a wash-in or spray-on DWR treatment. Always use organic DWR (durable water repellent): you can find spray-on and wash-in treatments online or in stores.
• After washing, remember to heat the garment to reactivate the fabric's waterproof surface.
