The IBUKI limited edition features functionality and a unique design. This is a redesigned take on the ever-popular Aurora Down Jacket. The name IBUKI is inspired by Mount Ibuki, the highest peak in Shiga Prefecture and one of Japan's 100 Famous Mountains.
The IBUKI Limited Edition features similar functionality to the regular version, but the key difference lies in the meticulous craftsmanship of the details. The front pockets are wider, with internal storage pockets and a Made in Japan identification label printed on the other side. The hat also comes with a brim for rain protection.
The Aurora Down fabric is made from Nanga Aurora Latex®︎, a proprietary fabric with a water resistance of 20,000mm, effectively preventing rain intrusion. Its 6000g/m²/24-hour moisture permeability allows moisture to escape from the down, keeping the garment dry and comfortable. To maximize the warmth of the down, the inner and outer seams have been redesigned this year to create a more body-conforming structure, minimizing gaps within the garment and allowing body heat to transfer to the down, maximizing its warmth.
The front zipper is waterproof to prevent cold air from entering and improve waterproofness. In addition, the cuffs and hem drawstrings can be adjusted to further enhance warmth.
