In 2024, Samaya, a high-end equipment French brand that we have been waiting for for a long time, is officially available in our store. The brand focuses on high-altitude mountaineering equipment products. Rooted in the heart of the French Alps
Samaya was founded in 2018 and built "Samaya High Camp" in Annecy to combine innovation and excellence. "Samaya High Camp" is located in the heart of the Alps and facilitates regular interaction between the brand and mountain professionals (athletes, guides, rescuers). The 1,000-square-meter "Samaya High Camp" design center is dedicated to experimental and testing areas, workshops for prototypes and small series production, a showroom for the entire collection, as well as conference rooms and reception areas.
The laboratory is equipped with standard equipment for the evaluation of materials and parts. Special equipment was developed at the same time to simulate the actual situation with the greatest accuracy. High-tech instruments are also equipped inside, including freezers, artificial rainfall and wind pressure measuring instruments. Before the product is handed over to customers, it will not only be tested at the "Samaya High Camp", but also tested on-site by teams and professional athletes in the Alps and the world's highest peaks to ensure its stability.
Samaya offers three complementary series, each tailored to customers' specific needs, including the ALPINE, 8K and ULTRA series.
The ALPINE range is characterized by its versatility and is designed for summer/winter duality. This range is suitable for any enthusiast looking for something lightweight without compromising on performance and comfort in any conditions.
Designed to meet the extreme needs of Samaya athletes, the ULTRA range is a technological pursuit in the pursuit of lightness and minimalism.
Suitable for base camps and extremely high altitudes, the 8K Series is designed to withstand all conditions. This series meets extremely demanding technical specifications, combines lightweight and protective features, and is designed to survive in extreme environments.
The two main driving forces behind the design of the Samaya hexagonal logo were balance and geometric precision on the one hand, and dynamics and artistic unrestricted conformity on the other. Later, the first tent model Samaya 2.5 was finally created, which also represents the Samaya logo hexagonal structure.
