Polartec Alpha® is a lightweight insulating material that delivers powerful warmth in cold conditions. Based on feedback from mountaineering users, it is recommended to layer it under a windproof shell for optimal performance. Polartec Alpha® Direct is a high-tech fabric that can be constructed into seamless garments; it requires no lining and can be worn directly against the skin. This reduces the overall bulk and weight of the clothing while providing excellent warmth and breathability.
